Simon Petie - Director

Simon has over 18 years of experience in key leadership positions, currently focusing on Business Resilience (Strategic Response, Crisis Management and Business Continuity) and working throughout Australia, North America, Asia and the Middle East.

Within a consulting role, Simon continues to lead the management and implementation of numerous crisis management and business continuity projects across multiple industries, such as education, professional services, financial services, manufacturing, resources, energy, infrastructure and utilities.

Simon is practised in all aspects of the business resilience lifecycle: problem identification and gap analysis, policy development, business impact assessments, strategy and plan development, implementation, facilitation of training and scenario exercises. Simon brings strong business strategy, workshop facilitation, project management and analytical problem-solving skills with a genuine enthusiasm to prepare and develop an organisation’s resilience planning.​

Andrew Scothern - Chief Architect

With 28 years of experience in IT and software development fields – 18 of which have been spent with Gallagher across various technical and leadership roles – Andrew thrives on enterprise-level problem solving, business strategy, and product road mapping. He is a strong advocate of Agile and Lean principles, particularly when applied to building cohesive and high impact teams, with aligned goals and individual empowerment. Andrew loves a challenge, whether through developing people and great teams, advancing his own business and technical skills, or running a marathon.


Pascale Howell - Customer Research Manager

Joining Gallagher in 2018, Pascale works together with the Research and Development (R&D) teams. Mike Margrain - Regional Technical Manager, APAC/IMEA

With 21 years of experience in the electronic security industry, Mike has been with Gallagher since early 2008, initially as Technical Account Manager (Queensland, Northern Territory, and Papua New Guinea), and then as National Technical Manager for Australia. Mike’s current position sees him play a pivotal role in providing guidance, support, and coaching to the technical teams across the APAC and IMEA regions. He also liaises with Gallagher R&D for the development of customer-inspired solutions. A security industry leader, Mike’s expertise and knowledge are unparalleled and the value he adds to Channel Partners, customers, and Gallagher’s business is indispensable.

Having spent 9 and a half years in the security industry, Sam’s current role is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing and engagement plans in alignment with the APAC IMEA sales and global marketing strategies. With a key focus on channel partners, Sam is working on expanding the direction, framework, and activities of Gallagher Security across the APAC and IMEA regions.


Karl Harris - Sales Manager, South Australia & Northern Territory

Karl has worked for Gallagher Security for the last eight years. During this time, he's worked with many of Gallagher’s Channel Partners on some of the most exciting projects and clients in the region. His role includes working with consultants and end users, ensuring the technology platforms and solutions being rolled out provide the best possible security and business efficiencies. Having started in the security industry in 1997, Karl has worked for organisations in New Zealand, South Korea, and Australia. He has a wealth of experience, having worked with clients from all verticals.


Mick Lambert - Senior Technical Account Manager, Queensland & Papua New Guinea

One of Mick’s key focuses in his role is providing invaluable in-market support to Gallagher Channel Partners (CPs), consultants, and End Users. He is also responsible for conducting technical client demonstrations and presentations, system designs, and managing critical site issues, offering assistance during support escalation situations. With 16 years of experience in the security industry, Mick has a comprehensive grasp of the security landscape and plays an integral role in short and long-term planning and direction at Gallagher Security Australia. He actively contributes to crafting product and service plans, spearheading new product development initiatives, and making astute product modifications. His keen understanding of market dynamics helps prioritise efforts and ensures that Gallagher Security stays at the forefront of innovation.


Ashley Gardiner - Technical Account Manager, Victoria & Tasmania
